Admissions

Thank you for your interest in St. Procopius Dual Language School and would like to answer here as many questions as possible about our admissions process.  St. Procopius School is the Chicago area’s only Catholic, dual language (English and Spanish) school.  We pride ourselves on our unique method of instruction and are proud of our students.  When our eighth graders graduate they are regularly accepted by top Catholic high schools such as St. Ignatius College Prep, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, and De La Salle Institute.  In addition, many of our students are accepted at numerous selective enrollment schools, such as Jones College Prep, Benito Juarez IB Program, and Lane Tech College Prep High School.

State of Illinois law requires the following age limitations for admission:

  • 3-year-old PreSchool:  3rd birthday on or before September 1.

  • 4-year-old PreSchool:  4th birthday on or before September 1.

  • Kindergarten:  5th birthday on or before September 1.

  • Grade 1:  6th birthday on or before September 1.
