Welcome to St. Procopius!

St. Procopius School is proud to be the only dual language catholic school in the Archdiocese of Chicago, attracting families from more than 15 communities across Chicago, the suburbs and northwest Indiana. Our instruction focuses on core subjects in Spanish and English as well as weekly religion lessons and mass attendance. We continue to be inspired by each student’s performance using either Spanish or English language abilities related to classroom content.

The committed staff of St. Procopius Dual Language School are native Spanish and English speakers who build learning opportunities through blending the two languages. The smaller class sizes provide more individualized attention, allowing students to interact with their teacher and leading to effective instruction. Students arrive as monolingual or sequential learners and graduate as bilingual and biliterate individuals.

Since August 2020, we have provided in-person instruction following the cohort model adhering to proper protocols. Children are energized to connect with their friends and teachers in a school where they feel they belong.
We strive to serve not just Pilsen but anyone interested in a Catholic Dual Language Program.

We have that small neighborhood school feeling but,
our students and families come from all around the greater
Chicago area. The map shows the richness of our
community, we serve both near and far!
